Ubud

Beautiful first day in Ubud, Bali. Indonesia! Tim finally arrived to our villa at 3am, we got some sleep and was up for breakfast on the patio at 9am.

He traveled for 3 days to get here so, to keep it a easy day,I scheduled a spa day for us. The Spa car picked us up and we headed out for our 90 minute couples massage. private room with shower and bathroom. This was Tims very first massage, so I ordered a gentle relaxing massage for him. I didn’t want  to scare him off with a traditional Balinese massage lol I went for the traditional and I am so sore!

So by the time we got back to the villa  it was lunchtime so, we decided to wander and find some food. (apparently Tim didn’t want a easy relaxed day!!! Lol)and found the palace

Tim bought tickets to a fire dance show for tonight and he hired a car n driver for tomorrow’s adventures.

We went to the market, and got lost for awhile. Tim bought me a lounge dress and some oils. Seen some interesting bottle openers too. Penis everywhere!

Tim originally said that he didn’t want to go to the monkey sanctuary but, then changed his mind. So we walked there.

Tim petted this one. Lots of mommas n babies.

It was nice n cool-in the forest.

Tim had to hit a ATM and now he is a multi millionaire. Lol  3 million Rupah = $217.00 USD

We walked to the show and it started raining. How romantic walking in the rain. :/ rain didn’t last long at all just enough to temporarily cool it off a bit.

Balinese traditional fire dance

The man on the left.. note his feet, he walked through hot coals many times, kicking them around.

After the show, we had a very nice traditional Balinese meal.

It was wonderful. The atmosphere was perfect for our night out. It was so good, I ate it all. I got so full that I couldn’t even get the planned ice cream after dinner. (Rain check!)

Walked Back to the home stay, where we discovered a small waterfall and stream in our backyard.

So, Tims first day in Bali was anything but relaxing lol.  :) We love it here. Tomorrow is another adventure.
