Phuket (phew ket)

We caught our early flight from Siem Reap Cambodia, to Phuket Island in Thailand without issue. Culture shock!! I finally broke down and bought a SIM card for my phone so, I can have maps and Facebook etc. while we are out and about. We arrived and took a mini bus to our hotel, The Crystal Beach. 5 minutes from Patong beach. This is a touristy area and prices are almost double of that in Bangkok, Chiang Mai And Pai. :(

Indian Ocean Not to crowded. After the beach we rinsed the sand off and enjoyed the top floor Salt water pool at our hotel with no one else around and hashed our our next moves in the trip. I think we stayed out just a lil too long as we are red on the first day of our island time.

watching lightening in the background making Davinas lemon and sugar "pancake" this is a cruise ship, we were watching the scrolling neon lights on the whole side of it.dinnerPhuket Island is a lively place, music and drunk people everywhere. normally, in the rest of Asia, when we walk by a massage place, they are hounding for our business. Here? We walk by and nothing but, as we watched and paid attention, they were dressed more provocatively and hounding the men. We think this is a massage with a happy ending kind of area. We have 1 more full day here since we couldn’t get a ferry out to where we wanted to go for another day, so we are going to other parts of this island to check out the beaches. Then we head to Krabi at a more peaceful area with trips to Phi Phi island. Where the water looks like a mirror. 

Thailand is my favorite country ..
