The Real Grand Palace

Today we decided to find the “real” Grand Palace, transportation is pricey when everything is on the opposite end of town. But we are making it work.

I was a little bummed when I found out we couldn’t go inside of the palace, so we took portraits in front of it.The colors and detail are amazing Wrong on so many levels, but, I got a great shot! Yes I asked permission and got a slight nod.

Heading over to see the Emerald Buda no pictures or video allowed, whoooops!!  my go pro was on. ;) you know accidentally....

Couldn’t really see him anyway! He’s way up top there, Davina had to actually point him out to me.the tiniest details are intricate and beautiful.she was just sweet this lady had a great time with Luann buying a dress from her and Luann changed right in that tiny stall/shop right on the street. It is so very hot outside.  too cute visited China town and was walking down the street stopped to take a photo and Luann started screaming... there and half bald sickly looking RAT a mere. 3 inches from MY foot. We took off outta there. I never did see it but,  I’ll definatly take her word for it.money tree? Local housing this man was hard at work sewing, making the beautiful lanterns above his head.

There is a small man in front carrying this load.

It was about this time that I totally ran into a monk!! Poor guy, I’m sorry, )A female can not touch a monks robe.. not even his mother, if a woman touches the robe and he notices he has hours of cleansing to do )

I call this the Tetris building... some call it the LEGO building. Either way is awesome to seeno idea what these are.seamstress hard at work

We were starving and wanted some “western food” I broke. Cardinal rule today. Left hands. Are “dirty” to native Thai People.

I AM LEFT HANDED!! We got KFC for dinner and locals were using knife n fork to eat the chicken... I picked that shit up with my LEFT hand and enjoyed every bite.
