Going to school part 2

So, after our cooking class we had the driver drop us off at the elephant nature park office to confirm our pickup tomorrow. (Ok I done gave away our next adventure) then we went walking, got something to drink and sat by the moat and seen the fish spa... none of us had ever tried it, so we decided to give a go. Well why not a 30 minute foot massage and a 30 minute fish spa ped!?it was amazing and didn’t hurt just tickling and like a vibration  I have cute feet! ;) and now they are so soft and smooth.Davina and Luann were laughing so hard at me.. they were crying!! 

So after all that fun was over. We went to walking again and decided to see what this temple like place we keep seeing from all over town. .

Some of these lifelike pictures you are about to see are just that.. real!!! Their bodies were preserved this way. EditEach monk has his own temple. Davina and I first doubted this one was Wax. Too many real features were noted.. dang nurses!! We got to do some investigating....well we found out the truth... not wax. Preserved human monk. Yes, kind of creepy! But very intriguing.

sooo on other non morbid note... here is some other things I saw.

Women were not allowed in this one temple because it humiliated and ruins the sacticity of the city of Chiang Mai.... I know it’s small but here’s the sign. 

Temple from 1400s - 6000 years old!! I bet it was so beautiful and glamorous in its day, as I think it’s beautiful today.means, it’s not all about the destination. Signs like this was hanging from trees all over this area.  The Tuk tuk patrol well now what we gonna do girls!?!? Yes, you read that right, ex-inmates, as everyone deserves a second chance at life.

Full body Thai massage 7.00 yes, I think so.. I’m loving all of this just a lil tooo much! Ha! 

Let’s start with a lemon foot scrub. I didn’t think my body could bend that way!!! Holy wow! They definitely stretch you out.my massage outfit they have you put on. sipping tea after her massage, this sure is the life!We have to remove our shoes before entering most places in Thailand EditIce cream?!? Sure why not! Then dinner .....life is short ,eat dessert first;) stay tuned for tomorrow’s adventure!! Elephants :)
