Blah

Today was just a pissy day for me.  

First, the housekeepers didn’t come. No clean towels, no toilet paper nothing.. we had to complain on our way out the door.teens pretty much run the place. 

I was on the verge of tears all day and not quite sure why. I’m emotional. We went out for lunch and I just had enough Baht in cash to get me thru. Then, we took a taxi to a market to walk around. Luann got a cute purse. But, I don’t have much room in my backpack and 6 weeks left to carry it and money issues (that’s coming, hang on!) So, I opted out. We went to a pharmacy and Davina bought things we needed to keep our new pretty tats clean in Asia. Then,  we headed back to our room. It’s hot! Like 97-99 degrees. I’m hot and exhausted. The heat takes a lot out of you. No car with AC to jump into and go. 

Facebook turned off my payments thru messenger and that’s how we pass money back n forth between us. Then, my email got flagged cause (I guess) I’m in a foreign country? and wouldn’t take my password so, then my account got locked.  That was a job in itself! 2 hours later,  Davina and I finally got it done. Still working on FB issue. 

Note:  I have money!! I don’t want to withdraw anymore Thai Baht since we are leaving soon to Vietnam and a different currency and it’s a pricey 48$ charge thru my bank at a ATM ..yes! Yikes! .. so, I think to myself  “It’s ok! Not a problem! I’ll just use my credit card for a day or 2 and all will be good.”

 Nope! I was wrong.

Davina and I walked to 7 eleven to get somethings but,  it wouldn’t take my MasterCard.. VISA only.. ugh!! Davina helped me out.  again. 

Finally,  I got to buy something today! Dinner! McDonald’s took my MasterCard! While at McDonald’s  Davina and I got swarmed by bugs, moths I think. There were hundreds of them inside McDonald’s. We get outside and they are everywhere! We pretty much ran back to our room, down streets and alleys. (Least our food was still hot! Haha!) Can’t really see them in the photos so you’ll just have believe me. 

I hope tomorrow is a brighter day for me. Davina and I are taking a 14 hour tour to Chang Rai. 4-5 hour bus ride, 3 temples and the place where 3 countries join. When I was still in Alaska, I researched the white temple and have been looking forward to it. Good thing is that I prepaid this tour in advance and my lunch is included. I guess it’s McDonald’s for dinner again tomorrow... 

Now, it’s time to put all my stuff on my bed and repack it again. 

Kudos to Davina for helping a sister out.
