Road to Pai

So we left Chiang Mai for a few days to see Pai in Northern Thailand. We will be going back to Chiang Mai as I’m not done there just yet. This 3 hour bus journey was a rough one to say the least. Davina and Luann were In the back and I was up front. 769 switchback hairpin turns.... Its not for the faint of heart.. Dramamine anyone?

We arrived and luckily our guesthouse was pretty close by. Just over the scary bamboo bridge.

Sabaydee guest house $7 a night each :) 

Up 3 flights of stairs3 beds and a bathroom which is a shower and toilet all in one.room with a view 

We got settled in and Davina and I went for a walk to check things out. Here are some of what we saw. I love Pai ! Rent a scooter everywhere A smalller village for sure but it’s more Thai Muslim here.doing a tour tomorrow Pai Canyon , waterfalls etc.wall art

We are going to rent this and I’m gonna drive Davina around but we have to get her some goggles first!! We are going to take turns in it :) 

400 baht for 24 hours wherever we want to go. Oh the adventures I see!! 

This is how they collect and distribute water. See the pedal bike? They have to get on and pedal it to give us shower water. 

Just Joking! Haha!! Luann got me with that at first too.

But it is pretty warm here, cools off at night.now that’s how ya do it! Luann and I went for a walk after we ate some half price Pizza I don’t care for pizza much but when ya eat Asian street food for weeks it tastes pretty darn fabulous!!
