Comfort zone

We extended our stay in PAI One extra day as I love it so much. Davina and I got out of our comfort zones and rented motorbikes for a couple of hours and went touring on the streets that would be too far to enjoy a walk . We have never ridden one but, wanted this experience in Asia and we thought Pai would be the best place to give it a go. Davina and I visited several places that we have seen in our tour journeys the last two days. Enjoy the following pictures as much as we loved taking them and being in the moment .

We slept in today , no alarm had to be set, so we went and had lunch before our adventure begins. Luann did not join us on this adventure, she took a rest day.The chicken falafel was yummy!! I am ready for my motorbike!  do I dare wear this helmet ?? It’s so funny! Not that helmet Davina was laughing so hard at me she was crying and that she wouldn’t of been able to drive behind me with me wearing that helmet but, I picked a lime green one. my pretty ride  our first stop was at the river And then a quaint little place for photo ops Have I mentioned that I love Pai Thailand?  Pai says hello and please come visit :) I’m having the time of my life! It did get a lil scary a couple of times on the motorbike, with people driving around you and lots of people in the streets, walking in front of you, turning in front of you etc.  we spent a few minutes at this beautiful spot with a great view of the mountains and then headed to our next stop.

Love Strawberry Pai lock and key to my heart Hard at workI have a thing for decorated or old bikes lately so you will see several in my posts .poor Davina isn’t really enjoying the motorbikes.but she is a trooper and we went to the next stop.

Coffee in Love

COFFEE!  Yes size matters and this is a big O cuppa coffee  our directions  unfortunately the power was out at this place and I could not get a cup of hot coffee, that I drove out there to get. She’s a bird in a cage today. Your free hunny your free!  Kind of random but I thought this was cute.  Rooftop garden  uniqueness  quaint  The coffee house

We went to return the motorbikes and couldn’t find which street the place was on to be able to return them. So we drove in circles for a little bit and finally found the road. While we were there, we booked our bus tickets back to Chang Mai for tomorrow afternoon. 150 baht (4.82) so we got Luanne and we went out to dinner and enjoyed some people watching. And met a few locals, permission was asked to take these photos and mama told the little girl to smile in their language . Three hours on that Horrible, curvy, winding road back to Chang Mai Thailand tomorrow.
