So we started our day off by booking a 8 hour tour for $16 and while we were waiting for the tour bus, we hopped into 7-Eleven for water and some breakfast..... when I came out, I seen this little guy and he made my heart happy. Just sat there waiting for his owner to come out. We started the tour by climbing 1 million steps to the white Buddha on the mountain. OK maybe not 1 million but it sure felt like it halfway up Davina and I made it to the top. What a view! Next stop is a viewing area where we had a little fun with the other backpackers with us on a four swing care so it was quite entertaining . Oh to be in my 20s again
Then we arrived at the Lod cave. All natural and pretty dark. we walked through the cave with a guide with lanterns. Then we came to a total dark area where we got on bamboo rafts. Now being a woman of size this was quite scary .
I did the best I could with pictures it was so very dark until we get to one area where most of the people climbed up a lot more stairs that I opted out of . Thailand made dam Holy BAT SHIT.. it smells sooo bad and bat shit literally everywhere. Falling from up above, I just prayed it would miss me... I got pretty lucky.our bamboo raft drivers then we had a very nice lunch of chicken pad Thai, watermelon, pineapple and a bottle of water which was all included. Then we got back on our tour truck for a Long, Curvy ride to the natural Hot Springs. I think we all wanted to take a nap at this point
These were our fancy dressing rooms luann held the door shut for me and I had to hold the door shut for Luann so we can get changed into our swimsuits . I think we saw more penis butts and boobs that i thought that we came to a nudist camp lol but we sure did enjoy it The leg you see sticking out is one of the backpackers that had a motorcycle wreck five days ago and she was bleeding and that guy was blessing her wounds by blowing on it ...it was quite strange,
Then we were headed to a waterfall but, we opted not to go there, since it was all dried up, so we headed straight to Pai Canyon for the sunset there were a lot of people and a lot of photographers there winding down with a nice relaxing dinner before we head to our slumber we all enjoyed this day very much ! stay tuned for tomorrow‘s adventures of the unknown.
Ps we did decide to spent an extra day here in Pai !!
