Reyjkavic Iceland

Our trip to Iceland started off pretty good with lots of leg room on the plane.
People were sleeping wherever they could on the plane for only a three hour flight (see the girl laying on the floor up against the side)
Made it to our Airbnb bedroom. Got a good nights sleep. Staying with a local.
The money conversions are difficult, you have to be really careful they're not cheating you.
The first pic of our day in Reyjkavic.  Now I call this a truck!  It is huge!

This is the local bakery and it sure did smell good
$20 socks anyone?

We went inside and it was playing some beautiful organ music ... gave me chills.
In front of the church
We went up to the top for some spectacular views

Some other pretty views
Then we went on the hunt for the famous Icelandic hotdog that I have heard so much about.
Found it!
It was amazing
Then we found Harpa the music concert hall right near the cruise ship dock. Very pretty building all of the glass panels were shimmering in the sunlight.
We walked for the good views

We found some Vikings along the way.
An awesome Christmas shop
For some reason I thought of my friend Candy .. ;)
This must be the lost and found
Did a little window shopping
Icelandic sweaters... the cheapest one I found was $275 brand-new and $125 in the Red Cross used store. Definitely won't be getting one this trip.
And I found some polar bears

Love the art on the buildings

I think this one's my favorite
Three hours later we just had to have another hotdog!!

Love this
A perfect ending to a perfect day

We walked many miles today, have a great night
