#2 A child's dream

When I was a little girl, I remember watching Shirley Temple play Heidi in the Heidiland children stories and I have always wanted to see this part of the world.
Nothing can rain on my parade today, not even the scattered showers.

Vaduz, Liechtenstein

I'm cuckoo for cuckoo clocks, if only I could get one home.

We got our passports stamped with Liechtenstein!
The castle where the duke currently lives.
Still a sucker for Steeples

Heading to Heidiland
Our bus driver mastered these very very narrow roads soo close to buildings

Heidiland a.k.a. Heididorf
It was a pretty steep hill to walk up.

If you know anything about the Heidi stories this is the train station that Heidi and Clara came to before Clara was pushed up the mountain in her wheelchair.
Wasn't going miss this .... even at 10 Frank's.

Back of Heidi house

This was grandfather's little cottage in the mountains.

Living a childhood dream

Some views on our way back but I just put the camera away and enjoyed the spectacular sights I was given.
This water was a true emerald color

Tomorrow we head to London,  England.
Sweet dreams. Always follow your dreams.
