Hoi An

Up for a noon flight. Easiest airport dealings we have had since arriving in South East Asia. Jet star Pacific airlines was roomy in general. 1 hour 20 minute flight and we landed in DaNang Vietnam. Our driver picked us up and drive 30 minutes to Hoi An. He definitely was one of those horn happy people!! We arrived at our hotel, Luann and I arecsharing a room and it’s less than 13.00 each per night. Light and Airy,fridge, hot water maker and a balcony , beach front (but can’t see the beach) I’m in heaven. We are relaxing for the next 5 days. Davina and I have 30+ days to go and we need a good rest. (but there is soo much to see!! And so little time)

Luann and my room The family also owns the restaurant across the road. Much more calm and peaceful than capital city Hanoi. We couldn’t wait to get to the beach, so we put our things in our rooms and headed to the beach.

Ate dinner at a local restaurant, went to a store to get water ,coffee and a few things,  talked to a lady to get a pedicure and massage. That’s coming soon! I miss Thailand and Thai massages....but I see Vietnamese massages close to here. Might just get a pamper day! Nails, feet etc. 

Relaxing night. There is no movement outside.
